This list looks at five beach resorts in Khao Lak and what each hotel offers, from room styles and facilities to the kind of guest most likely to enjoy staying there.
La Solaya Khao Lak
La Solaya Khao Lak is a five-star beachfront resort with a modern luxury feel, premium villas, sea views, a main pool, wellness areas, Club Stella for kids and teens, and Solmare Beach Restaurant close to the sand. JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort and Spa is the familiar chain-resort choice in this list, which will appeal to travellers who like knowing roughly what standard to expect before they arrive. It suits families, groups, and longer stays where guests want a large beachfront hotel with plenty on site, including pool areas, restaurants, spa and fitness facilities, and organised resort services. It may not have the same private villa feel as Casa de La Flora or the same independent character as some of the other Khao Lak resorts, but that is part of the reason people book it. For many travellers, the JW Marriott name brings reassurance: a recognised brand, a polished service style, and a resort setup that is easy to understand from the moment they arrive.
